CARRABASSETT LODGE

Carrabassett Valley, ME
September, 2008

Hilltop was chosen to custom create a bed and breakfast at the base of ski resort area, Sugarloaf USA.  The design of the Carrabassett Lodge unfolded to meet this client’s request.   The lodge was created utilizing local pine log resources and includes tremendous 10” posts in the great room.  The bed and breakfast’s owners opened their new business as the Nestlewood Inn.  You can view the Nestlewood Inn website by clicking here: http://nestlewoodinn.com/index.htm

SEDONA DREAM MAKER BED & BREAKFAST

Sedona, Arizona
May 2003

After deciding to put a 3,000 square foot addition onto their home to serve as a bed and breakfast, the owners of Sedona Dream Maker did some research. On the recommendation of their builder, they selected Hilltop Log & Timber Homes to produce the milled log package.

Phil Winkelstern, the Dream Maker’s owner, explained, “We had a great relationship with Hilltop. They did all the engineering for us; we just sent them the rough architectural plans.

GOVERNOR DICK ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER

Mt. Gretna, Pennsylvania
2003

With the proceeds from a state grant, an environmental center was constructed at The Park at Governor Dick in Mt.Gretna, PA.

This center provides a meeting facility for the Governor Dick Board of Directors and can host meetings for
forestry and educational related activities.

POINT LOOKOUT CABINS

MBNA Project—May 2000

MBNA, one of the United States’ largest financial institutions,
commissioned Hilltop Log & Timber Homes to create the Point Lookout Corporate Retreat.

Hilltop Log & Timber Homes provided all of the materials & worked closely with one of Maine’s largest construction companies to build 106 cabins and structures ranging in size from 18’x20’ to 30’x36’ with a loft.

In addition to a sports complex and centralized administration, meeting and hospitality accommodations, this retreat center was used for employee incentive programs and by executives
flying in for business engagements.
